Viking art never followed the laws of Celtic art, meaning, the Vikings never carved symmetrical designs. The heads, tails and bellies of these beasts are slightly off balance (some would say the same could be said of Vikings), this means the weight of the piece will hang slightly to one side. To hang correctly, we suggest two double-sided sticky pads (supplied) to help in mounting the plaque accurately.
